An amphibious robot comprises a robot body, wheel leg mechanisms, a spiral propelling mechanism, a front water tank, a rear water tank and a water pump. A waterproof sealed containing bin is installed on the upper portion of the machine body, a water pump is arranged in the waterproof sealed containing bin, a rear water tank and a front water tank are installed at the rear end and the front end of the machine body respectively, and the water pump is communicated with the rear water tank and the front water tank to achieve circulating pumping and injecting of water in the front water tank and the rear water tank. A pair of spiral propelling mechanisms capable of controlling the robot body to advance or push backwards is arranged on the lower portion of the rear end of the robot body, wheel-leg mechanisms capable of controlling the robot to advance are arranged on the two sides of the robot body respectively, the number of the wheel-leg mechanisms is three, and the two pairs of wheel-leg mechanisms are symmetrically arranged. The multi-foot crawling robot is compact in structure, can adapt to more complex terrains to crawl in a multi-foot mode, and can swim in water by adjusting buoyancy.
