The amphibious pipeline detection robot comprises a detection module, a driving module, an expansion and contraction module, expansion legs and a flexible shell, the detection module is arranged at the front end of the flexible shell, the expansion legs are arranged on the two outer sides of the flexible shell, the driving module is arranged on the flexible shell, and the expansion and contraction module is arranged on the flexible shell. The driving module is in transmission connection with the expansion legs, and the expansion and contraction module is arranged in the flexible shell and used for adjusting the size of the device. The expansion legs can be transversely expanded or contracted in a cylindrical shape, so that the expansion legs are in two states to adapt to two advancing modes of the detection robot under the condition that fluid exists in a pipeline and no fluid exists in the pipeline.
