The invention relates to the technical field of robots and discloses a carrying disc moving structure of a climbing robot. The structure comprises a main body which moves up and down along a telegraphpole. The main body is provided with an inner end surface arranged back to the telegraph pole, and a connecting rod driving structure is connected to the inner end surface of the main body; a horizontally arranged carrying disc is connected to the connecting rod driving structure, and the connecting rod driving structure drives the carrying disc to move upward deviated from the main body or drives the carrying disc to move downward close to the main body; a maintaining device can be placed on the carrying disc. When the climbing robot climbs, the connecting rod driving structure moves the carrying disc downward close to the main body, so that the carrying disc is close to the inner end surface of the main body, and therefore, a carrying torque in a climbing process is reduced. When it isneeded to pick and place the maintaining device, the connecting rod driving structure drives the carrying disc to move upward deviated from the main body, so that it is convenient to pick and place the maintaining device.
