In order to study the path planning of bionic wall climbing robot based on GPL model, a path planning method suitable for GPL model is proposed. Firstly, the wall climbing robot based on GPL model is briefly introduced. Through the kinematic and static analysis of GPL model, the influence of robot path on climbing ability is studied; Secondly, based on the optimal foot end force, the motion curve of lumbar joint of GPL model is obtained, and the path planning is realized; Finally, the correctness of the analysis results is verified by ADAMS simulation. The results show that this method can solve the path planning problem of wall climbing robot based on GPL model. At the same time, the research results also reveal the motion rationality of gecko and other biological prototypes using swing crawling rather than straight-line crawling.
