To provide a an unmanned flying body capable of safely taking off and landing in the state that a load is connected with a rope, and a flight method.SOLUTION: An unmanned flying body 1, which is provided with a plurality of rotary wings and delivers a load 2 by hanging it with a rope 3, includes: a coordinate detection part detecting the current position; a height detection part detecting the current height; and a flight controller controlling flight operation based on a detection result by the coordinate detection part and the altitude detection part. The unmanned flying body 1 performs taking-off operation which rises to a taking-off/landing height H, moves in a set separation direction A just for a set separation distance W, and rises in the state that the rope 3 is loose by control of the flight controller.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】ロープで荷物を接続した状態で安全に離着陸を実行できる無人飛行体及び飛行方法を提供する。【解決手段】複数の回転翼を備え、荷物2をロープ3によって吊り下げで搬送する無人飛行体1であって、現在位置を検出する座標検出部と、現在高度を検出する高度検出部と、前記座標検出部及び前記高度検出部による検出結果に基づいて飛行動作を制御するフライトコントローラと、を備える。無人飛行体1は、離着陸高度Hまで上昇すると共に、設定された離間方向Aに、設定された離隔距離Wだけ移動して上昇する離陸動作を、フライトコントローラの制御によってロープ3がたるんだ状態で実行する。【選択図】図2
