To provide an electronic train detector control section length measuring device which requires less manpower for measuring works.SOLUTION: An electronic train detector control section length measuring device comprises current measuring means to measure a current value made to flow from an electronic train detector to rails and arithmetic processing means to calculate a control section length using a current wave form. The arithmetic processing means comprises extreme value point extracting means, pass time calculating means, a train speed calculating part and a control section length calculating part. The extreme value point extracting means extracts extreme value points of measured current values. The pass time calculating means calculates times from a start point and an end point of a control section to their nearest extreme value points, a time from the first extreme value point to the second extreme value point and a time from the last extreme value point to an extreme value point, one extreme value point's pitch before the last extreme value point. The train speed calculating part calculates a train approaching speed using a time from the first to the second extreme value points and a vehicle wheelbase length and a train going away speed using a time from the last extreme value point to an extreme value point, one extreme value point's pitch before the last one and a vehicle wheelbase length. The control section length calculation part calculates a length of a control section using the train approach speed and a time to the first extreme value point and using the train going away speed and a time from the last extreme value point.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】測定作業に要する人手を減らすことができる踏切制御子の制御区間長測定装置を提供する。【解決手段】踏切制御子からレールへ流される電流値を測定する電流測定手段と電流波形から制御区間の長さを算出する演算処理手段とを備え、演算処理手段は、測定された電流値の極値点を抽出する極値点抽出手段と、制御区間の始点および終点からそれぞれ最も近い極値点までの時間と第1から第2の極値点までの時間と最後の極値点からその一つ手前の極値点までの時間とを算出する通過時間算出手段と、第1から第2の極値点までの時間と車両の車軸間距離とから列車進入速度を、また最後の極値点からその一つ手前の極値点までの時間と車軸間距離とから列車進出速度を算出する列車速度算出部と、列車進入速度と第1極値点までの所要時間および列車進出速度と最後の極値点からの所要時間から制御区間の長さを算出する制御区間長算出部とを備えるようにした。【選択図】図2
