To provide a device which simply measures a section length controlled by a railroad crossing control unit.SOLUTION: A controlled section length measuring device 100 comprises a train sensing state checking part 1010, a train sensing time measuring part 1020, an extreme value point checking part 1030, an extreme value point interval measuring part 1040, a train speed calculating part 1050 and a controlled section length calculating part 1060. The train sensing time measuring part 1020 measures time during which a railroad crossing control unit senses a train, based on the result of sensing by the train sensing state checking part 1010. The extreme value point interval measuring part 1040 measures time interval between extreme value points of a rail transmission voltage checked by the extreme value point checking part 1030. The train speed calculating part 1050 calculates a train speed, based on an extreme value point interval measured by the extreme value point interval measuring part 1040.
