PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device capable of smoothly accelerating a hybrid electric vehicle at a time of acceleration at which the rising of an engine torque is delayed due to a delay in the introduction of EGR gas into a combustion chamber.SOLUTION: A hybrid electric vehicle control device comprises: connecting-disconnecting means (52) connecting or disconnecting an engine (1) to or from a motor-generator (51); an EGR device (14) opening an LP-EGR valve (17) in a predetermined LP-EGR region to supply EGR gas to a combustion chamber (7); torque assist means (55) instructing the connecting-disconnecting means (52) to connect the motor-generator (51) to the engine (1), and causing the motor-generator (51) to assist the engine (1) in an engine torque generated by the engine (1) in response to an intake pipe volume that the engine (1) has to range from the LP-EGR valve (17) to an inlet of the combustion chamber (7).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】EGRガスの燃焼室への導入遅れに伴ってエンジントルクの立ち上がりが遅れる加速時にスムーズな加速を行わせ得る装置を提供する。【解決手段】エンジン(1)とモータジェネレータ(51)との連結を断接する連結断接手段(52)と、予め定まっているLP−EGR領域でLP−EGR弁(17)を開いてEGRガスを燃焼室(7)に供給するEGR装置(14)と、目標EGR比の増加を伴う加速時に、連結断接手段(52)に指示して、モータジェネレータ(51)とエンジン(1)とを連結すると共に、モータジェネレータ(51)により、エンジンの有する吸気管ボリュームであってLP−EGR弁(17)より燃焼室(7)入口までの吸気管ボリュームに応じて、エンジンが発生するエンジントルクをアシストするトルクアシスト手段(55)とを備える。【選択図】図1
