PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid electric vehicle control unit capable of moving valve timing to a predetermined position at a time of system deactivation without causing driver's discomfort.SOLUTION: In a hybrid electric vehicle control unit of the present invention, if an ignition switch is turned off and valve timing changing means is at a position other than a predetermined advance position, then the stop of a vehicle system is delayed, a motor keeps rotating an engine and the valve timing changing means is changed to the predetermined advance position and locked in a state of stopping the fuel injection of the engine, and the vehicle system is then stopped.

    【課題】 運転者に違和感を与えることなく、システム停止時にバルブタイミングを所定の位置に移動可能なハイブリッド車両の制御装置を提供すること。【解決手段】 本発明のハイブリッド車両の制御装置では、イグニッションスイッチがオフとされ、かつ、バルブタイミング変更手段が所定の進角位置以外の場合は、車両システムの停止を遅延させ、エンジンの燃料噴射を停止した状態で、モータによりエンジンの回転を維持してバルブタイミング変更手段を所定の進角位置に変更してロックした後に車両システムを停止することとした。【選択図】 図3
