PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the probability of ensuring output power necessary to satisfy vehicle required power in a hybrid electric vehicle including a CD mode and a CS mode as running modes and configured to be able to execute a revolving speed increase control.SOLUTION: A vehicle comprises: an engine; a battery; a second motor-generator generating a driving force using an electric power of the battery; and an ECU controlling the engine and the second motor-generator. The ECU is configured to execute a revolving speed increase control to control an engine revolving speed Ne to increase an engine sound pressure in proportion to an increase in a velocity V of the vehicle. The ECU limits the execution of the revolving speed increase control in a CD mode for consuming a battery SOC, as compared with a CS mode for sustaining the SOC within a predetermined range.

    【課題】CDモードおよびCSモードを有し、回転速度増加制御の実行が可能に構成されたハイブリッド車両において、車両要求パワーを満たすのに必要な出力パワーを確保できる可能性を高める。【解決手段】車両は、エンジンと、バッテリと、バッテリの電力を用いて駆動力を発生させる第2モータジェネレータと、エンジンおよび第2モータジェネレータを制御するECUとを備える。ECUは、車両の車速Vの増加に伴ってエンジン音圧が増加するようにエンジン回転速度Neを制御する回転速度増加制御の実行が可能に構成される。ECUは、バッテリのSOCを消費するCDモード時には、SOCを所定の範囲に維持するCSモード時に比べて、回転速度増加制御の実行を制限する。【選択図】図6
