PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid electric vehicle and a hybrid electric vehicle control method capable of optimally controlling a hybrid system mounted in the hybrid electric vehicle, improving fuel consumption, and preventing degradation in drivability (ride comfort).SOLUTION: Power transmission is implemented by a second driving system using a gear stage "FIRST" or "SECOND" since a vehicle starts before a rotational speed of an internal combustion 10 is equal to or higher than a normal rotational speed. Regenerative control for setting the rotational speed of the internal combustion engine 10 to a rotational speed corresponding to a next gear stage is exerted by a motor generator 11 in a case of upshifting during the use of the second driving system. The second driving system is switched to the first driving system depending on a requested torque if the rotational speed of the internal combustion engine 10 is equal to or higher than the normal rotational speed. The first driving system is always selected and the internal combustion engine 10 is decelerated by a torque of an engine brake and a regenerative torque of the motor generator 11 if the internal combustion engine 10 is decelerated from a state in which the rotational speed is equal to or higher than the normal rotational speed.

    【課題】ハイブリッド車両に搭載したハイブリッドシステムを最適に制御できて、燃費を改善できると共に、ドライバビリティー(乗り心地性)を損なうことがない、ハイブリッド車両及びその制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】車両発進から内燃機関10が常用回転数以上になるまでは、「1速」又は「2速」を使用して、第2の駆動系統で動力伝達を行い、第2の駆動系統の使用中にシフトアップする場合は、電動発電機11によりエンジン回転数を次のギア段の回転数にする回生制御を行い、内燃機関10が常用回転数以上の場合は、要求トルクに応じて第1の駆動系統に切り替え、内燃機関10が常用回転数以上の状態から減速する場合は、常に第1の駆動系統を選択して、エンジンブレーキによるトルクと電動発電機11の回生トルクにより減速する。【選択図】図1
