The invention relates to a computer-implemented method for obtaining an environment scene representation (HSRV) for an automated driving system (R), said method comprising the following steps: obtaining environment features from real and/or virtual environment sensor data of the driving system (R) (V1); and arranging the environment features in the scene representation (HSRV) (V2) comprising a plurality of layers (A-H) that are arranged in spatial relation and each comprise static (stat) or dynamic (dyn) environment features, wherein the static (stat) environment features comprise regional information, position data of the driving system and/or of the environment features, traffic rule information, traffic indicators and anchor trajectories, the dynamic (dyn) environment features comprise semantic information and movement information of the road users, and the driving system (R) is controlled in a closed-loop and/or open-loop manner (V3) on the basis of the scene representation (HSRV).
