The invention relates to a method for autonomous driving of a vehicle, referred to as ego vehicle (EV), the method comprising the consolidation of an indicator of presence of a target object (VC), comprising the steps of: x obtaining data from at least one sensor of the ego vehicle, said data comprising an information of presence of the target object; x estimating a trajectory of the ego vehicle; x calculating an instantaneous indicator of presence of the target object from said sensor data and said estimated trajectory of the ego vehicle; x determining a consolidated indicator of presence from the instantaneous indicator of presence and a history of consolidated indicators of presence; x generating an autonomous driving instruction from said consolidated indicator of presence.
