The driving mode recognition method comprises the steps of obtaining driving data in a vehicle driving process; when a first characteristic parameter in the driving data meets a preset condition, determining that the driving mode of the vehicle is a first driving mode; the first characteristic parameter is used for representing the driving state of the vehicle; when a first characteristic parameter in the driving data does not meet a preset condition, determining a first identification result of the vehicle based on the driving data according to a pre-trained first identification model; based on the driving data, determining a second identification result of the vehicle according to a second identification model; determining the driving mode of the vehicle as a second driving mode according to the first recognition result and the second recognition result; and outputting the driving mode of the vehicle.
