The method comprises the steps that under the condition that a laser radar cleaning request is received, pedestrian position information and pedestrian speed information in a target area are acquired; judging whether a first target pedestrian exists in the sputtering area or not according to the pedestrian position information; under the condition that the first target pedestrian does not exist in the sputtering area, according to the pedestrian position information and the pedestrian speed information, the predicted moving duration of the second target pedestrian moving to the sputtering area is obtained; and when the predicted movement duration is greater than the duration threshold, executing the laser radar cleaning request. By adopting the method, pedestrians in the preset splash-proof area and nearby pedestrians moving towards the splash-proof area can be detected by utilizing radar and computer vision, and a driver can select immediate cleaning or delayed treatment without checking the surrounding environment by himself, so that the cleaning efficiency of the laser radar is improved.
