The invention discloses a novel electric brake boosting system which comprises a shell, a motor, a push rod assembly, a transmission module, a pedal simulator, an angle sensor, a displacement sensor, a return spring, a controller ECU and a brake master cylinder. The shell comprises a front shell, a motor shell and a rear shell, the front shell is divided into a displacement sensor shell and a mechanism front shell, the front end of the front shell comprises a pedal simulator, the front end of the pedal simulator is in threaded connection with a limiting nut, one end of the limiting nut is in threaded connection with a push rod assembly, and the other end of the limiting nut is in threaded connection with a push rod. One end of the push rod assembly away from the limiting nut is in threaded connection with a push rod fork; a stator, a rotor, a ball screw, a screw nut and a bearing are arranged in the motor shell, and a return spring, an output push rod and a push rod base are arranged in the rear shell. Linear control over the brake pressure is achieved, and the electronic power-assisted brake system has the advantages of being quick in response, accurately controlling the brake pressure, simulating the pedal feeling of a driver, recycling brake energy and the like.
