The invention relates to the technical field of underwater robots, in particular to an underwater robot communication system, which comprises a floating part carrying a communication switch, wherein the communication switch is used for transmitting network signals, and the floating part floats on the water surface after being wrapped by a floating material; a robot body connected with the floating part through a first cable, wherein the first cable is immersed in water along with the robot body, the first cable is used for transmitting a network signal between the robot body and the floating part and transmitting electric energy supplied to the communication switch by the robot body, the horizontal distance between the robot body and the floating part is within a preset distance threshold value, and the floating part is used for indicating the position of the robot body; and a control part connected with the floating part through a second cable, wherein the buoyancy of the second cable is larger than that of the first cable, the second cable floats on the water surface, and the second cable is used for transmitting network signals between the control part and the floating part. The technical problem that the communication distance of the underwater robot is short is solved.
