We report the first demonstration of a desktop-size high repetition rate extreme ultraviolet laser. Laser pulses at /spl lambda/=46.9 nm with energy /spl sim/13 /spl mu/J were generated at 12 Hz repetition rate by single pass amplification in a Ne-like Ar capillary discharge plasma column.
