An Infrastructure Enabled Perception (IEP) System is put forward for high-precision vehicle perception. It enables wide perception range and high precision perception, and maintains robust against vehicle states. Experiments are carried out to evaluate the performance of the proposed IEP system in terms of vehicle localization accuracy and speed tracking accuracy. The results show that applying the enhanced IEP system can achieve cm-level precision in vehicle detection and tracking while maintaining robustness.
