본 발명은 자율주행 차량의 정차 중 타차량 및 장애물의 위치 등을 미리 파악하고, 타차량에 의한 측면 충돌이 발생된 경우, 자율주행 제어기에 의한 차량의 구동토크 및 제동토크 제어 등을 이용하여 차량의 측면 충돌 후 발생 가능한 다른 타차량 또는 장애물과의 2차 충돌을 회피할 수 있도록 함으로써, 승객 상해를 최소화할 수 있도록 한 차량의 2차 충돌 회피 제어 방법을 제공하고자 한 것이다.
