According to an embodiment of the present invention, the collision prevention method comprises the steps of: determining whether V2V communication with an opposing vehicle and a surrounding vehicle is possible; determining the safety of the surrounding vehicle based on driver operation information of the surrounding vehicle received through the V2V communication; determining a collision risk based on information on the opposing vehicle; and determining whether to intervene in vehicle control based on steering control, braking control, and the collision risk of the opposing vehicle and the surrounding vehicle.
