The present invention relates to an apparatus for controlling the behavior of an autonomous vehicle, and a method thereof. More particularly, the present invention is to provide an apparatus and method for controlling a behavior of an autonomous vehicle capable of providing optimal riding comfort to occupants of the autonomous vehicle by preventing collisions with obstacles that are not detected by a preceding vehicle in advance by deep learning the behavior of the vehicle in a situation where it avoids obstacles located on the road (for example, falling objects, potholes, irregularities), and controlling the obstacle avoidance of the autonomous vehicle based on the learned result. To this end, according to the present invention, the apparatus for controlling a behavior of an autonomous vehicle comprises: a learning unit for learning the behavior of the vehicle in a situation where obstacles located on the road are avoided; and a control unit controlling the behavior of the autonomous vehicle based on the learning result of the learning unit.
본 발명은 자율주행차량의 거동 제어 장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로, 도로상에 위치한 장애물(일례로, 낙화물, 포트홀, 요철)을 회피하는 상황에서의 차량의 거동을 심층 학습하고, 이렇게 학습된 결과에 기초하여 자율주행차량의 장애물 회피를 제어함으로써, 선행차량에 의해 가려져 감지되지 않는 장애물과의 충돌을 미연에 방지하여 자율주행차량 내 탑승자에게 최적의 승차감을 제공할 수 있는 자율주행차량의 거동 제어 장치 및 그 방법을 제공하고자 한다. 이를 위하여, 본 발명은 자율주행차량의 거동 제어 장치에 있어서, 도로상에 위치한 장애물을 회피하는 상황에서의 차량의 거동을 학습하는 학습부; 및 상기 학습부의 학습 결과에 기초하여 자율주행차량의 거동을 제어하는 제어부를 포함한다.
