The present invention enhances energy efficiency by separating a drive shaft from a drive device such as construction equipment, an industrial power generator, a vessel, an aircraft, and a vehicle. In case of a vehicle driving on a road or a track which is a desirable embodiment of the present invention, the states of the vehicle that a vehicle engine is on are as follows: an idle state including an idling condition; an acceleration state that pressure is applied to an accelerator; and a deceleration state that a speed is decreased by friction while the vehicle is moved by an inertial force even though the pressure applied to the accelerator is removed; and a braking state that a brake is on the vehicle by applying pressure to a braking pedal. In the deceleration state, a vehicle wheel connected to a second drive shaft is rotated by an inertial force and the vehicle is moved by the torque generated by the rotation while a power generating device connected to the drive shaft is separated not to disturb the movement of the vehicle. In the braking state, a speed of the second drive shaft is controlled after the separation of the first and second drive shaft by a clutch while the energy of the first drive shaft is stored. The drive device includes: a rotator receiving the torque from the power generating device; the drive shaft of which one end is connected to the power generating device and the other end is connected to the rotator; the clutch dividing the drive shaft into the first drive shaft connected to the power generating device and the second drive shaft connected to the rotator; and a speed control device controlling the speed of the second drive shaft in accordance with the speed of the second drive shaft.

    건설장비, 산업현장의 발전기, 선박, 항공기, 차량을 포함하는 구동장치에 구동축을 분리하여 에너지효율을 높인다. 바람직한 실시예인 도로나 선로를 이동하는 차량의 경우, 시동이 걸린 상태를 구분하면 아이들링을 포함하는 중립상태, 가속기에 압력이 가해지는 가속상태, 가속기에 압력이 제거되었으나 관성력에 의해 이동하며 마찰에 의해 속도가 감소하는 감속주행상태, 제동페달에 압력이 가해져 차량이 제동되는 제동상태로 나눌 수 있다. 감속주행상태에서는 제2구동축과 연결된 차륜이 관성력에 의해 회전하고 이 힘을 이용해 차량은 이동하며, 제1구동축과 연결된 동력발생장치가 이를 방해하지 않도록 분리된다. 제동상태에서는 클러치로 분리 후 제2구동축은 속도를 제어하되, 제1구동축의 에너지를 저장한다. 동력발생장치로부터 회전력을 전달 받는 회전체; 일단은 상기 동력발생장치와 연결되고 타단은 상기 회전체에 연결되는 구동축; 상기 구동축을 상기 동력발생장치와 연결되는 제1구동축 및 상기 회전체와 연결되는 제2구동축으로 단속하는 클러치; 상기 제1구동축의 속도를 상기 제2구동축의 속도에 맞추도록 설치되는 속도제어장치에 의한다.
