Disclosed is a method for monitoring an installation process of a propeller shaft. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for monitoring an installation process of a propeller shaft comprises the following steps: (a) a monitoring device capable of photographing the inside of a stern tube and being moved is provided; (b) a propeller shaft is inserted into the stern tube; (d) the monitoring device monitors a gap between a sagging prevention member installed on the inner side surface of the stern tube and the propeller shaft so as to prevent the propeller shaft from sagging; and (e) the monitoring device is removed from the stern tube.
