To provide an installation structure of a propeller shaft capable of improving space efficiency by reducing a space required for arrangement.SOLUTION: An end part of a rotary shaft (5) is provided with a first flange part (6) for connecting a propeller shaft (PS) and a fitting groove part (63) formed on the inner peripheral side of the first flange part (6), and an end part of the propeller shaft (PS) is provided with a second flange part (82) for connecting the rotary shaft (5) and a fitting claw (85) provided so as to be capable of advancing-retreating in the radial direction in the second flange part (82) and energized in the projection direction by energization means (84), and in a state of joining the first flange part (6) and the second flange part (82) by fastening of a bolt (7), the fitting claw (85) of the second flange part (82) is fitted to the fitting groove part (63) of the first flange part (6).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
