To provide an unmanned flying object movable in a stable posture and changeable in direction during moving with respect to an upper structure.SOLUTION: An unmanned flying object 10 comprises; a main body part 12; lifting-power generating means 13 that generates lifting power; an information obtaining part 16 that obtains information on at least above the main body part 12; travelling means 20 that can travel while being made to contact a structure S positioned over the main body part 12, by lifting power applied by the lifting-power generating means 13; and propulsion-power generating means 22 that generates propulsion power in a horizontal direction with the travelling means 20 contacting the structure S.
