To provide a crawler type movable robot that is able to exhibit excellent traveling performance, in which the robot can climb over an obstacle such as a step difference, and is able to safely travel a slope, etc. of a slippery mountain.SOLUTION: A crawler type movable robot includes: a pair of main crawlers 20 provided on left and right sides; a pair of left and right arm portions 50 provided coaxially with front wheels 21 of the main crawlers 20 and rotatable independently of the main crawlers 20; and a pair of left and right auxiliary crawlers 40 provided on the arm portions 50 and rotating in synchronization with the main crawlers 20. Outer peripheries of at least one of the main crawlers 20 and the auxiliary crawlers 40 have plate-like spike portions 35 extending in a lateral direction, end faces 34 of which project outward and main surfaces 33 of which are directed in a rotating direction, and recesses 36 are formed in the end faces 34. Thus, the main crawlers 20 and the auxiliary crawlers 40 are driven, and powers are transmitted so that traveling surfaces are hooked on the spike portions 35 in which the recesses 36 are formed, making it possible to safely travel on a slippery slope or the like.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】段差等の障害物を乗り越えることができる優れた走行性能を発揮し、且つ、滑り易い山の斜面等を安全に走行することができるクローラ式移動ロボットを提供する。【解決手段】左右に設けられた一対の主クローラ20と、主クローラ20の前輪21と同軸に設けられて主クローラ20とは独立して回動自在な左右一対のアーム部50と、アーム部50に設けられて主クローラ20と同期して回転する左右一対の補助クローラ40と、を備え、主クローラ20及び補助クローラ40の少なくとも一方の外周には、左右方向に延在し端面34が外側に突出し主面33が回転方向に向かう板状のスパイク部35が設けられており、端面34には、凹部36が形成されている。これにより、主クローラ20と補助クローラ40を駆動し、凹部36が形成されたスパイク部35に走行面を引っ掛けるようにして動力を伝達して、滑り易い斜面等を安全に走行することができる。【選択図】図1
