To present information on a detected obstacle to a user in a suitable manner.SOLUTION: An obstacle monitoring device 18 detects a target present in the periphery of a vehicle 10 based on an image reflecting the periphery of the vehicle 10 to derive a reliability degree indicating that the detected target is an obstacle. The obstacle monitoring device 18 generates an image in which target information indicating the target whose reliability degree is equal to or greater than a predetermined first threshold value is arranged in a first aspect that definitely indicates being an obstacle and in which target information indicating a target whose reliability degree is less than the first threshold value is arranged in a second aspect different from the first aspect.
