To provide a driving assistance system capable of accurately estimating a factor of sudden braking.SOLUTION: A driving assistance system comprises: a storage section for storing a learning model learning a plurality of supervisor data indicating a relation between braking operation information indicating a braking operation performed in a vehicle being traveled on a road and braking reason information indicating a reason why the braking operation is performed; an acquisition section which acquires vehicle operation information relating to operations of the vehicle with the passage of time; and an identification section which uses the learning model to identify the braking reason information indicating the reason why the braking operation is performed on the road and braking position information indicating a position where the braking operation is performed on the basis of the braking operation information indicating the braking operation which is acquired from the braking operation information and performed in the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
