To provide a brake force control apparatus capable of securing the stability of a vehicle at deceleration even in a case where abnormality occurs to a wheel speed sensor in the vehicle capable of deceleration using regenerative brake force.SOLUTION: This brake force control apparatus, for use in a vehicle that has a regenerative brake device for exerting regenerative brake force in a drive wheel that is either of front or rear wheels, a frictional brake device for exerting frictional brake force in each wheel, and a wheel speed sensor, performs: decreasing regenerative brake force generated by the regenerative brake device in the case of detecting a locking during deceleration that uses the regenerative brake force; and causing, in the case of the regenerative brake force falling short of required brake force, the frictional brake device to exert brake force on driven wheels in an amount equivalent to the shortage in the required brake force. In a case where, however, the vehicle is decelerated while abnormality is detected in the wheel speed sensor, the control device causes the frictional brake device to exert frictional brake force in each wheel instead of causing the regenerative brake device to generate regenerative brake force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】回生制動力を用いた減速が可能な車両において、車輪速度センサに異常が生じた場合でも、減速時の車両の安定性を確保することができる制動力制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】この制動力制御装置は、前輪と後輪の何れか一方である駆動輪に回生制動力を作用させる回生制動装置と、各車輪に摩擦制動力を作用させる摩擦制動装置と、車輪速度センサとを備える車両に適用される。この制動力制御装置は、回生制動力を用いた減速中にロックを検知した場合、回生制動装置が発生させる回生制動力を減少させ、要求制動力に対して回生制動力が不足するのであれば、要求制動力に対する不足分の制動力を摩擦制動装置から従動輪に作用させる。ただし、車輪速度センサに異常が検知されている状態で車両を減速させる場合、回生制動装置に回生制動力を発生させることなく、摩擦制動装置から各車輪に摩擦制動力を作用させる。【選択図】図5
