To provide a technique for effectively utilizing the remaining life of a battery.SOLUTION: A battery system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a battery that can be used repeatedly, a battery control unit that controls the battery life by restricting a battery usage condition related to battery life deterioration, an estimation unit that calculates the estimated life of the battery obtained due to the restriction on the battery usage condition, and a relaxation unit that obtains the life remaining capacity that exceeds the target life of the battery, and relaxes and resets the battery usage condition of the battery control unit in a direction of reducing the life remaining capacity.
