The invention discloses a system and a method for rail-mounted vehicle smart battery management, and belongs to the technical field of metallurgical railway transportation. The system comprises a BMSsystem module used for collecting state information of a battery pack; a system monitoring module which is used for generating a control command according to the state information of the battery packand controlling the charging of the battery pack; a charging module which receives the control command sent by the system monitoring module and then accesses voltage; a rectification monitoring modulewhich outputs charging voltage; and a power distribution output module which is connected with the charging voltage, determines the charging voltage of the battery pack according to the charging interface of the battery pack, performs power distribution according to the charging voltage of the battery pack, and charges the battery pack after power distribution is completed. According to the invention, the vehicle-mounted battery of the rail-mounted vehicle in the metallurgical industry is systematized and integrated, the problems of battery charging, management and monitoring are effectivelysolved, and the unmanned requirement of rail-mounted vehicle control is met.
