To provide a transportation robot which suppresses weight and has good handling property even with limit in a transportation route to an installation position, and which can carry out efficient transportation considering workability of a related worker while safely reducing the number of workers and labor.SOLUTION: A transportation robot 1 comprises: a portal frame structure 10 having a leg portion 11 and a support frame 12; a main body portion 20 connecting a plurality of portal frame structures 10A, 10B; a driving portion 30 driving a wheel 31 provided in a bottom portion of each leg portion 11; a hanging mechanism 40; and a control portion 50. The support frame 12 is constituted to be telescopic in a width direction and the main body portion 20 is constituted to be telescopic in a longer direction. The driving portion 30 is constituted to be able to move the portal frame structure 10 in a longitudinal, lateral, revolving, and diagonal direction. The control portion 50 performs control at least one of: a telescopic operation in a width direction by the support frame 12; gap adjusting operation between the plurality of portal frame structures 10A, 10B by the main body portion 20; and wheel driving by the driving portion 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
