To provide a parking lock mechanism that can miniaturize and reduce weight of a transmission unit.SOLUTION: A parking lock mechanism is provided with a parking support 71 on an opposite side to a parking gear 12 relative to a parking pole 13. The parking pole 13 enters between the parking gear 12 and the parking support 71 and extends along an outer periphery of the parking gear 12. A tip 72 of a body part 32 is positioned on a lower side relative to an uppermost part in the parking gear 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
