To provide an electric actuator and an electric brake device having a novel configuration, in which inconvenience is further reduced, for example, capable of further reducing a local stress which is generated in a housing in a case where an external force acts on the housing, in a further simplified configuration.SOLUTION: An electric actuator and an electric brake device comprise, for example: a first housing including a first peripheral wall and a circumferential first end portion which is an end portion of the first peripheral wall and forms an opening end spread in an arrangement direction of a motor and a motion converting mechanism; a second housing which is another part of a housing and includes a circumferential second end portion which faces the first end portion partially with a clearance interposed therebetween and extends along the first end portion, and a second peripheral wall extending from the second end portion to a side opposite to the first peripheral wall; and a projection which is provided at a position separated from two mutually separated coupling locations where the first end portion and the second end portion are coupled, protrudes from at least one of the first end portion and the second end portion, and suppresses the clearance from being reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
