To appropriately adjust steer torque for lane keep control with respect to intervention in an operation for a lane change by a driver, in a case where it is necessary for the driver to intervene in the operation for the lane change for the vehicle.SOLUTION: An automatic operation system for performing an automatic operation for a vehicle, comprises: a lane change determination unit that determines whether intervention in an operation for lane change for a vehicle by a driver of the vehicle is needed or not during an automatic operation; a lane change request unit that, in a case where the lane change determination unit determines that the intervention in the operation for the lane change for the vehicle by the driver is needed, requests the driver to intervene in the operation for the lane change for the vehicle; and a mode switching unit that, in a case where the driver is requested to intervene in the operation for the lane change for the vehicle, switches a mode for steer torque for lane keep control in the automatic operation from a regular steer torque mode to a less steer torque mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
