To provide a technology that, when a flight device loses control for flight and is led into a situation of falling, can avoid breakdown of the flight device due to a collision with another object by reducing a collision speed, and that is simpler than a parachute.SOLUTION: A flight device 100 includes propulsion means 102 for flying the own device 100, air resistance means 110 stored in predetermined portions 106c of protection frames 106 of the propulsion means 102, and air resistance control means 401 for expanding the air resistance means 110 to close at least a part of a protection frame surface along the protection frame 106.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
