To provide a power system capable of executing a number-of-motors difference control system torque vectoring control, a total number-of-motors control system variable rating output control, and a parallel drive synchronous shift control for an electric power or hybrid power vehicle, especially a sports car, which is short in a lateral direction of a vehicle body, and can be implemented easily.SOLUTION: A power system having a common intermediate transmission shaft includes: a first system power transmission mechanism for transmitting power of two motors to the intermediate transmission shaft; a second system power transmission mechanism for transmitting power of the intermediate transmission shaft directly to a left wheel and a right wheel; a third system power transmission mechanism for transmitting the power of the intermediate transmission shaft to the left wheel and the right wheel through a differential gear in a distributed manner; and a control device for controlling them. The control device controls the first system power transmission mechanism to execute a total number-of-motors control system variable rating output control, and a parallel drive synchronous shift control, and controls the second system power transmission mechanism and the third system power transmission mechanism to execute a number-of-motors difference control system torque vectoring control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
