PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power system capable of performing speed changing of limited speed change shocks and speed change control with no driving torque omission during speed changing, for an electric-powered or hybrid-powered automobile, in particular, a sports car.SOLUTION: A power system comprises: a plurality of motors; a first system power transmission mechanism for directly transmitting motor power to a right wheel; a second system power transmission mechanism for directly transmitting motor power to a left wheel; a third system power transmission mechanism for distributing motor power to the right and left wheels; and a control device for controlling the mechanisms. The control device performs speed change control for changing a speed through executing driving by one motor and one power transmission mechanism while synchronizing the other power transmission mechanism by the other motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
