To restrict a consumption power of a motor and facilitate a starting control for the motor while applying a starting of an engine and a reverse rotation starting of the engine.SOLUTION: An engine starting control device comprises: a motor 20 capable of driving an engine 1; an engine control part 41 for controlling a combustion operation at a cylinder 2 of the engine 1; and a motor control part 42 for controlling an operation of the motor 20. The motor control part 42 sets a motor torque corresponding to a piston stop position of a stopping time compression stroke cylinder 2a in such a way that a piston 5a in the stopping time compression stroke cylinder 2a may be stopped after it is moved to a predetermined reference position not exceeding a compression top dead center. The engine control part 41 ignites the stopping time compression stroke cylinder 2a to cause the engine to be temporarily rotated in a reverse direction after the motor control part 42 operates the motor 20 with the set motor torque and then ignites a stopping time expansion stroke cylinder 2b to cause the engine to be rotated in a normal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7

    【課題】モータによるエンジンの始動及びエンジンの逆回転始動の技術を適用しつつ、モータの消費電力を抑制すると共に始動制御を容易化する。【解決手段】エンジンの始動制御装置は、エンジン1を駆動可能なモータ20と、エンジン1の気筒2における燃焼動作を制御するエンジン制御部41と、モータ20の動作を制御するモータ制御部42とを備える。モータ制御部42は、停止時圧縮行程気筒2aのピストン5aが、エンジン1の始動時において、圧縮上死点を越えない所定の基準位置まで移動した後に停止するよう、停止時圧縮行程気筒2aのピストン停止位置に応じたモータトルクを設定する。エンジン制御部41は、モータ制御部42が前記モータトルクでモータ20を動作させた後に、停止時圧縮行程気筒2aを燃焼させてエンジン1を一時的に逆回転させ、次いで、停止時膨張行程気筒2bを燃焼させて、エンジン1を正回転させる。【選択図】図7
