To secure convenience and safety of a user even in the case of an unmanned taxi in which a taxi vehicle is in an unmanned operation and no driver exists.SOLUTION: When a passenger tries to ride on an unmanned taxi in an empty or reserved state, the passenger is specified in a step S12 by using short-range wireless communication between an on-vehicle device and a portable terminal of the passenger. Further, when it is detected in a step S15 that the passenger has approached the unmanned taxi, a vehicle door is automatically unlocked in a step S16 so that the passenger can get on the taxi. Using a seat pressure sensor and a seatbelt sensor, the presence or absence of passenger boarding completion is automatically identified in a step S19. After confirming the boarding completion in a step S31, input of destination information from the passengers is accepted in a step S32 and traveling is started.     【課題】タクシー車両が無人運転で、且つ運転者が存在しない無人タクシーの場合であっても、利用者の利便性や安全性を確保すること。【解決手段】空車又は迎車状態の無人タクシーに乗客が乗車しようとする場合に、車載器と乗客の携帯端末との間の近距離無線通信を利用して、ステップS12で乗客を特定する。更に、乗客が無人タクシーに接近したことをステップS15で検知した場合に、ステップS16で車両ドアを自動的に解錠して乗客が乗車可能な状態にする。シート圧センサやシートベルトセンサを用いて、ステップS19で乗客の乗車完了の有無を自動的に識別する。乗車完了をステップS31で確認した後、ステップS32で乗客からの行き先情報の入力を受け付けて走行を開始する。荷物室の解錠制御もステップS18で自動的に実施する。【選択図】図5
