PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic driving device for changing over a vehicle driving state into a semi-automatic driving state in consideration of a place where a vehicle is traveling.SOLUTION: When a pedal operation is detected by a pedal operation detection section in a state where speed control and steering control are being performed concerning an ECU of a vehicle V, a traveling control section cancels the execution of speed control and continues the execution of steering control in a state where a vehicle position is within a steering area with existence of a steering factor and also steering control being performed is the steering control for correspondence to the steering factor, and cancels the execution of speed control and steering control in a state other than the above state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】車両が走行している場所を考慮して車両の運転状態を半自動運転状態に切り替える自動運転装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両VのECUにおいて、走行制御部は、速度制御及び操舵制御を実行している状態でペダル操作検出部によってペダル操作が検出された場合、車両の位置が操舵エリアが存在する操舵エリア内であり且つ実行している操舵制御が操舵要因に対応するための操舵制御である状態のときには、速度制御の実行を解除し且つ操舵制御の実行を継続し、その状態でないときには、速度制御及び操舵制御の実行を解除する。【選択図】図1
