PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the accuracy of self-position estimation by using navigation satellites.SOLUTION: An autonomous mobile robot selects a satellite set made up of a combination of a plurality of navigation satellites that can be received in a positioning period, i.e. a period from prescribed positioning start time to the elapse of a movable period (period the robot can autonomously move within a movement space) by using information included in signals received from navigation satellites, estimates its self-position by using information included in signals received from the satellite set, and autonomously moves along a movement route from the self-position to a prescribed movement target position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
