PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular steering device having a fail-safe function when an abnormality occurs in a motor interlocked with a shaft to which a steering force is applied by a driver.SOLUTION: A transmission mechanism 18 includes: a first reduction gear 21; a second reduction gear 22 having a reduction ratio higher than that of the first reduction gear 21; and a second clutch 23 for switching between a case in which a rotational force of a shaft motor 17 is transmitted to a first shaft 12 via the first reduction gear 21 and a case in which the rotational force is transmitted to the first shaft 12 via the second reduction gear 22. A control unit controls the second clutch 23 so as to selectively switch between the first reduction gear 21 and the second reduction gear 22 according to the state of the shaft motor 17 and a gear motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
