PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular steering device capable of preventing a steering member from rotating even when a steering force larger than a steering reaction force maximum value which can be added to the steering member by a reaction force motor is applied to the steering member, when a steering angle of steering wheels has reached a steering angle limit value.SOLUTION: A vehicular steering device includes: a reaction force motor 19 connected to an output shaft 12, and for applying a reaction force to a steering wheel 2; a reaction force motor control device 70 for controlling the reaction force motor 19; a steering lock device 25 for locking the rotation of the output shaft 12; and a lock device control part 90. The lock device control part 90 locks the rotation of the output shaft 12 by the steering lock device 25, when an absolute value of the rotation angle of the output shaft 12 is equal to or greater than a first threshold value α, and an absolute value of a motor current flowing in the reaction motor 19 has become equal to or greater than a second threshold value β.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】転舵輪の転舵角が転舵角限界値に到達しているときに、反力モータによって操舵部材に付与可能な操舵反力最大値よりも大きな操舵力が操舵部材に加えられたとしても、操舵部材が回転するのを防止することができる車両用操舵装置を提供する。【解決手段】出力軸12に連結され、ステアリングホイール2に反力を与えるための反力モータ19と、反力モータ19を制御する反力モータ制御部70と、出力軸12の回転をロックするためのステアリングロック装置25と、ロック装置制御部90とを含む。ロック装置制御部90は、出力軸12の回転角の絶対値が第1閾値α以上であり、かつ反力モータ19に流れるモータ電流の絶対値が第2閾値β以上になったときに、ステアリングロック装置25によって出力軸12の回転をロックする。【選択図】図2
