PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent that the torque of drive wheels at the outside of a turn becomes small compared with torque at the inside, and to prevent that a turn is disturbed by a torque difference between the inside and outside of the turn caused by a motor characteristic.SOLUTION: A turn assist control device is employed to an electric automobile having two electric motors 2, 2 for driving right and left drive wheels 1, 1, and two inverter devices 13, 13 which can independently control the two motors 2, 2. The turn assist control device comprises: rotational frequency comparison means 22 for comparing rotational frequency of the two motors 2, 2; maximum torque calculation means 23 for calculating maximum torque in a current rotational frequency of the motor 2 from the rotational frequency of the motor 2 whose compared rotational frequency is larger; and torque limit means 24 for limiting command torque which is imparted to the inverter devices 13, 13 of both the motors 2, 2 from torque distribution means 12a to the calculated maximum torque.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】旋回外側の駆動輪のトルクが内側に比べて小さくなることを防止し、モータ特性による旋回内外のトルク差で旋回の妨げが生じることを回避できるようにする。【解決手段】左右の駆動輪1,1をそれぞれ駆動する2つの電動のモータ2,2を備え、これら2つのモータ2,2を独立して制御可能な2つのインバータ装置13,13を備えた電気自動車に適用される。前記2つのモータ2,2の回転数を比較する回転数比較手段22を設ける。比較した回転数が大きい方のモータ2の回転数からこのモータ2の現在の回転数における最大トルクを算出する最大トルク算出手段23を設ける。トルク分配手段12aから両モータ2,2のインバータ装置13,13に与える指令トルクを、前記算出された最大トルクに制限するトルク制限手段24を設ける。【選択図】図1
