PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance method of a large structure which enables reduction of the time needed for maintenance of the large structure and costs, and to provide an unmanned aircraft.SOLUTION: An unmanned aircraft 10 includes: a fixed part 17 fixed to a guide 6 which is a maintenance object; a wire 18 having one end attached to the fixed part 17; and a maintenance unit. A maintenance method of a large structure includes the steps: fixing the fixed part 17 to the guide 6 of a maintenance object 4a; landing the unmanned aircraft 10 on the maintenance object 4a with the fixed part 17 fixed to the guide 6; and conducting maintenance of the maintenance object 4a with the fixed part 17 fixed by the maintenance unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
