PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision load alleviation structure capable of securely reducing a collision load transmitted to a battery.SOLUTION: A collision load alleviation structure comprises: a pair of vehicle body frames 1 arranged spaced apart in a vehicle width direction, extending longitudinally and formed so that the closer to a rear end part and farther from a front end part thereof, the wider a distance between the vehicle body frames of the pair gradually becomes; and a battery frame 12 arranged inside the pair of the vehicle body frames 1 and supporting a battery 3. The battery frame 12 comprises a pair of side part frames 14a which is arranged spaced apart in the vehicle width direction, extending longitudinally and at least a front end part of which is formed so that a distance between the pair gradually becomes wider toward a rear end part along the pair of vehicle body frames 1. An outer side surface 19b of the pair of side part frames 14a is arranged substantially in parallel with an inner side surface 18a of the pair of the vehicle body frames 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
