PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device enabling the position adjustment of a steering wheel in a fore-and-aft direction and a vertical direction by applying a load in a direction desired to move while gripping the steering wheel.SOLUTION: On a grip portion 5 of a steering wheel 1, a front side upper pressing surface 6a on which a thumb is seated; a front side lower pressing surface 7 on which a root corresponding portion of the thumb on a palm side is seated; a back side upper pressing surface 8 on which at least either one of a forefinger or a middle finger is seated; and a back side lower pressing surface 9 on which at least either one of a third finger or a little finger is seated are set. Those are respectively provided with first-fourth sensors 10a-10d as load sensors. On the basis of the computing result of detection output of each sensor, motors of a fore-and-aft direction position adjusting drive mechanism and a vertical direction position adjusting drive mechanism are driven.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】ステアリングホイールを握ったままで移動させたい方向の荷重を負荷することで前後および上下方向でのステアリングホイールの位置調整を可能とした装置を提供する。【解決手段】ステアリングホイール1のグリップ部5に、親指が着座する表側上部押付面6aと、掌側の親指の付け根相当部が着座する表側下部押付面7と、人差し指および中指のうち少なくともいずれか一方が着座する裏側上部押付面8と、薬指および子指のうち少なくともいずれか一方が着座する裏側下部押付面9とを設定し、それぞれに荷重センサとして第1〜第4センサ10a〜10dを設ける。各センサの検出出力の演算結果に基づいて前後方向位置調整駆動機構と上下方向位置調整駆動機構のモータをそれぞれ駆動する。【選択図】図4
