PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a structure that can increase force for holding a steering wheel at an adjusted position, and can easily achieve reduction in size and weight and improvement in flexibility of design.SOLUTION: First and second oscillation/friction plates 26 and 28 are held between an inner surface of one supporting plate part 20a and a one side surface of a displacement bracket 12a. A first oscillation supporting shaft 25 acting as an oscillation center of the first oscillation/friction plate 26 is provided on a straight line α, which passes through a center position of a long hole 19a in a longitudinal direction and is orthogonal to a length direction of the long hole 19a in a longitudinal direction, of the one side surface of the displacement bracket 12a. A second oscillation supporting shaft 27 acting as an oscillation center of the second oscillation/friction plate 28 is provided in an intermediate part in a length direction of an outer surface of the first oscillation/friction plate 26. An adjustment rod 22a is engaged with a first and a second guide long holes 31 and 32 provided at tip parts of the first and second oscillation/friction plates 26 and 28 respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】ステアリングホイールを調節後の位置に保持する力を大きくできて、小型・軽量化及び設計の自由度の向上を図り易い構造を実現する。【解決手段】一方の支持板部20aの内側面と変位ブラケット12aの片側面との間に、第一、第二両揺動摩擦板26、28を挟持する。前記変位ブラケット12aの片側面のうち、前後方向長孔19aの中央位置を通り、この前後方向長孔19aの長さ方向に直交する直線α上に、前記第一揺動摩擦板26の揺動中心となる、第一揺動支持軸25を設ける。この第一揺動摩擦板26の外側面の長さ方向中間部に、前記第二揺動摩擦板28の揺動中心となる、第二揺動支持軸27を設ける。これら第一、第二揺動摩擦板26、28の先端部に設けた第一、第二両ガイド長孔31、32に、調節ロッド22aを係合させる。【選択図】図1
